Rarities and odds
A card's rarity
Every monster and item of Dofus becomes a card. Its rarity depends on its level (the highest grade, for a monster):
- Common: level 60 or below
- Uncommon: level 61 to 120
- Rare: level 121 to 199
- Epic: level 200 or above
An archmonster goes up one rarity, a boss too, up to Legendary at most. Dofus are always Legendary.
Packs
A free pack arrives every 10 minutes, up to 10 in stock; a new account starts with a full stock. A pack holds 5 cards: the first 4 of any rarity, the 5th Uncommon or rarer.
| Rarity | Cards 1 to 4 | 5th card |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 66.6% | 0% |
| Uncommon | 18.17% | 54.4% |
| Rare | 10.68% | 31.99% |
| Epic | 4.28% | 12.81% |
| Legendary | 0.27% | 0.8% |
These odds follow the current catalog: they are the ones the app shows.
Radiant cards
Each card drawn has a 1% chance to be radiant. A radiant card is one rarity higher (up to Legendary) and has values × 1.5, rounded up.
Kamas
Kamas are Dofudex's virtual currency. A duplicate disenchants into Kamas by its rarity; a radiant copy is worth the rarity above. The last copy of a card never disenchants.
| Common | 1 |
|---|---|
| Uncommon | 3 |
| Rare | 10 |
| Epic | 40 |
| Legendary | 200 |
An extra pack costs 100 Kamas. On the Market, a card sells at a fixed price, at least its disenchant value; the seller gets the price minus a 5% tax. Achievements (sets, monster races, album milestones, first Epic and Legendary card) also earn Kamas.
Retired cards
When a monster or item leaves the game, its card is retired: it no longer comes out of packs, but stays in albums and on the Market.
